The reflection of ASEP
Sight seeing
This is the very
first time to visit Taiwan. I thought Taiwan has a little bit unique smells
when we arrived at Taiwan and I was surprised by many tall buildings. That made
me feel Taiwanese technology is more industrial than Japan.
On the first day
of my trip, we visited one of the historical place which deifying Jiang Jieshi.
The height of the temple was very big and there were some people who act like
Taiwanese traditional soldiers. Their performance was perfect. I thought they
are statues of soldiers at the first moment when I saw them because they didnft
move even they didnft blink. That kind of sight is rare in Japan so Ifve got interested
in it.
On second day and
third day, we went to see child village. Child village is just like a school
which children can learn practical English. There are place which look
like restaurant, store, airplane
and so on. I recommend Japan to include these ways of education.
Presentation and
ASEP
This is first time
for me to attend ASEP. In Japan, our faculty has an international exchange program
that is called WYM. In WYM, I play a role as a presenter and I collaborate with
students from the Philippines so I got use to do such a job. But this time,
there were many conflicts. I felt a difficulty of communication through
English. And also, we couldnft get enough information exchange before we go to
Taiwan. We really talked and negotiated many times and then, we completed our
presentation. After that, all we had to do was a practice.
On the day of
ASEP, we fortunately prized gold award. This result will be a big confidence
and a motivation for next presentation.
Conclusion
As a conclusion, I
really enjoyed this trip and attending in ASEP. We learnt a lot from Taiwanese
students and professors. Ifll never forget this experience and I would like to
keep in touch with friends in Taiwan.
