What the cultural difference told me…

Before I participated in ASEP , I was afraid of going abroad, especially the language problems. I can’t speak Chinese and Taiwanese students can’t speak Japanese. Ofcouse we use English but they speak English better than me. I was afraid that I could give a presentation well and tell them what I wanted to say.

As soon as I arrived at Kaohsiung cities station, however, my anxiety disappeared.

Sanmin vocational high school students welcomed us warmly. They came to train station and gave us necklaces and some boards. They talked to us much with smile. When I couldn’t talk well, they tried to spoke to me hard. I gradually came to feel comfortable. How wonderful we were!! Then I decided to exchange our opinions. I learned very important things that we Japanese don’t have. Thanks to this experience, I had a lot of chance to talking many people and found good point of all members. I made a lot of wonderful friends. I was glad to have a presentation with these wonderful members on the stage. Ofcouse it was very difficult to memorized long sentence. I was disappointed with my English. But at that time they said to me “Don’t worry” .Then I decided to practice hard for them!!! On December 28, I was given warm support by friends so I have no regrets over my presentation. I really want to say “Thank you so much”

I spent 2month preparing for ASEP. It was very impressive for me. I can’t express how I feel when ASEP. I have a chance for meeting a lot of people and I got over many kind of difference. So I made a lot of friends. Now, I think Taiwan is another hometown for me.

It is very important for Japanese students to join in ASEP. I want to join in WYM…No. I join it!!!!!!

Thank you for giving me wonderful 2 month. I had a great time.
